Overview
In December 2024, I was approached by my supervisor with the proposition of redesigning the Program Finder. I was thrilled about this as an Interaction Design student to have the opportunity to bring together my two passions- Study Abroad and UX Design.
Terra Dotta is a cloud-based platform that offers “modular solutions [that] are designed specifically to support the internationalization and global engagement priorities of higher education.” There are many different features and processes that Terra Dotta offers, but I am focusing on their “Site Builder” feature. Using this feature, I have redesigned the Kennesaw State University Education Abroad’s Program Finder website to improve organization, navigation, aesthetics, and overall user experience.

What next?
We are working on activating the three tiles on the home page that will take you to more information without compromising our visual hierarchy.

We will be bringing in more of our branding and information on how to stay connected with our office- possibly connecting our Instagram or LinkedIn to the site.

Slowing down the moving testimonials at the bottom of the homepage.

Once these changes have been made, I plan on conducting usability testing to gain feedback on the website and iterate on the design based on my findings.
